Fly RTK off your own base or a network correction, or post-process against control after landing. Absolute accuracy holds at ±1.2 cm horizontal and ±2.4 cm vertical, and every flight is checked against your control points before it reaches the record.
What it does
Accuracy is a chain: where the camera was, how the frames tie to each other, and what the whole block is tied to on the ground. RTK fixes the first link in flight from a base station or an NTRIP network. PPK fixes it after landing from the raw satellite log — which is what saves a flight that lost the radio link halfway down line 14.
You lay control once. After that, checkpoints on the site are measured out of every finished dataset and reported as residuals, so accuracy is a number on the sheet rather than a claim in a brochure. Where a surveyor's stake still governs, GCPs go straight in — the two methods are not exclusive.
How it works

Correct the position
The aircraft flies a fixed RTK solution from your base or an NTRIP mount point, typically on 28 satellites. The raw observation log is written to the card whether or not the link holds.

Solve after landing
If the fix dropped mid-flight, PPK re-solves the trajectory against the base log on the ground. Either way every frame ends up with a camera position good to ±1.2 cm.

Check against control
Independent checkpoints are measured out of the finished dataset and reported as residuals, per flight, on the record. A flight outside tolerance is flagged rather than filed.
