A lookahead that reads the site, not the room.
Master schedule, three-week lookahead and the constraint list that decides whether next week happens. Percent complete comes off capture across 82 trades, so a task is 62% placed because the frames say so, not because the meeting said so.
What it does
Import the CPM schedule from P6 or MSP and the record keeps it beside the capture. Each activity is bound to a level, an area and a zone once; from then on the weekly walk of that area reports how much of it is installed, and the date it was measured rides on the bar.
The three-week lookahead is drawn from what the site can actually take. Constraints open against each task — drawing not issued, material not on the laydown, inspection not booked, ticket not current — each with an owner and a clear-by date. What was promised last week sits next to what got done, by trade, every week.
How it works
- 01
Bind the schedule to the site
Import the CPM schedule and map activities to levels, areas and zones once. After that, every capture of an area reports against its activities without a coordinator re-keying a percentage.
- 02
Measure the velocity
The weekly walk and the dock flight give percent complete by area across 82 trades. Planned against actual velocity, in units per week, is what the next window is drawn from — 5 weeks of measured rate rather than one hopeful meeting.
- 03
Clear the constraints
Every task inside the 3WK window carries its constraints: drawings, materials, inspections, certifications. Each has an owner and a clear-by date, and the Thursday pull plan shows which of next week's tasks are still blocked.
