The interior walks itself.

A quadruped carrying a 360 camera and a lidar head walks the route your superintendent walks — stair cores, ramps, congested slabs — up to 14 km a shift, hitting last week's vantage points to within 0.2 m.

What it does

You teach the route once, walking it yourself with the robot behind you. After that it repeats the route on the nights you set: level by level, at 1.2 m/s, 92 min to a pack, stair cores climbed rather than skipped. It returns to its dock, charges, and goes again.

Because the vantage points repeat to within 0.2 m, this week's frame sits over last week's frame with nobody lining them up. Drywall that closed a wall on Level 6 is a difference, not an argument — same corner, same height, seven days apart.

How it works

  1. 01

    Teach the route

Walk the floor once with the robot following, dropping vantage points where a superintendent would stop: risers, stair cores, MEP racks, the corner nobody photographs. About 20 min of teaching per floor, once per building.

  2. 02

    Set the shift

Pick the nights and the levels. The robot runs at 1.2 m/s on a 92 min pack and returns to the dock to charge between legs, so a 14 km shift across nine levels finishes before the gate opens.

  3. 03

    Hand it to the record

Frames land pinned to the drawing at the vantage point they were taken from and aligned to the previous pass, so the office reads change rather than a folder of pictures.
